are you ready to take control?

I’ve been thinking.

About two years ago, I needed someone to help me run the company. It would have been a high-level executive role, and I wanted to entrust that responsibility to someone who could help lighten the load.

It’s difficult, sometimes, to be in a position of full control over a company.

Think about it: every decision you make directly affects hundreds of people.

But there are benefits too. You’re the big shot — and honestly, who doesn’t want to be the big shot somewhere? When you speak, it becomes almost like scripture on the other side. In that moment, those are the rules that govern the universe. It’s the money, sure, but in the end it’s everything — especially the power and the prestige.

Anyway, for two months I tested four people for that prestigious position. All of them failed critically. The reason was the same: they wanted control, and only that.

They wanted to be above others. They wanted to dominate.

But that’s not how it works. When you take on such a high position somewhere, you don’t just get to give orders. You also need the courage to carry the consequences of your decisions — and to make those decisions without always asking for permission. High-level roles require that.

Are you ready to take control?

Then be ready to take the consequences too.

Good or bad.
